1. Who may use ApredIA
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are below the legal age to enter a contract in your country, you need authorization and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. The educational service
ApredIA offers short videos, questions, interactive content, unlockable topics, and an AI Tutor. We may add, modify, remove, or reorganize features and content to improve the service, comply with law, or protect users.
We do not guarantee that a topic, video, question, or feature will remain available indefinitely. We will seek to preserve reasonable value for acquired topics when changes occur.
3. AI Tutor and accuracy
AI-generated responses can be incomplete or wrong. Verify important information with official sources and a teacher. ApredIA does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or safety advice.
Do not use AI for high-impact decisions, cheating, unlawful content, or attempts to extract internal instructions, other people’s data, or protected materials.
4. Credits and unlockable content
- Credits are a limited digital license within ApredIA; they are not money, do not earn interest, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.
- Credits may be used to unlock topics or use AI Tutor features at the prices displayed in the app.
- Promotional credits may have different conditions, do not generate creator payouts, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Balances, usage, and unlocks recorded by our systems control access unless a verified error occurred.
5. Purchases, billing, and refunds
Mobile purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, generally through RevenueCat. The store controls payment method, currency, tax, receipt, restoration, and refunds.
Prices may vary by country, store, and promotion. Unless required by law, deleting an account or leaving credits unused does not itself create a refund right. Request refunds from the store where you purchased.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not violate laws, copyright, privacy, or anyone else’s rights.
- Do not harass, threaten, exploit, or publish sexual, violent, discriminatory, or dangerous content.
- Do not evade limits, obtain credits improperly, disrupt the service, introduce malware, automate abuse, or access other accounts and systems.
- Do not copy, resell, mass-extract, or redistribute content or responses beyond what law permits.
- Report problematic content or responses to [email protected] with enough context for us to investigate.
7. Intellectual property
ApredIA, its software, brand, design, and content belong to their respective owners. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal educational purposes.
Third-party materials remain the property of their owners. Nothing in these terms transfers intellectual property to the user.
8. Creator content
Approved creators accept additional terms and licenses before publishing. A public application does not guarantee selection, earnings, topic assignments, or continued participation.
Anyone submitting content represents that they hold the necessary rights and permissions and remains responsible under their creator agreement.
9. Suspension and closure
We may limit or suspend an account for fraud, security risk, breach, legal requirement, or harm to the service or others. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to clarify.
You can permanently delete your account in the app. Deletion removes your access and product data controlled by ApredIA; its scope and external records ApredIA does not control are described on the Account Deletion page and in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and limits
ApredIA is provided “as is” and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, academic outcomes, exam passage, or absolute accuracy of content or AI.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost opportunities, data, or profits. Nothing limits non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. App stores
If you downloaded ApredIA from Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for operating, maintaining, or supporting ApredIA. If downloaded from Google Play, Google Play terms also apply. Mandatory store terms control where applicable.
ApredIA—not Apple or Google—is responsible for the service, support, and app-related claims except where the store or law mandatorily provides otherwise. Apple and its subsidiaries are beneficiaries of this section where applicable.
12. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms for changes to the service, law, or security. We will publish the current version and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continuing to use ApredIA after the applicable date means accepting the updated version unless law requires another mechanism.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica unless mandatory law permits another forum.
